- Analyses on TAO/TRITON mooring buoy data, shipboard-ADCP data, historical observed oceanic data, reanalysis atmospheric data, satellite dataAtide gauge data, etc.

- Analyses on outputs from high-resolution ocean general circulation model, and data assimilation model.

- Spatial and temporal variability of upper ocean heat content, SST and atmospheric field in the Pacific.

- Oceanic and atmospheric variability related to El Nino/Southern Oscillation (ENSO), decadal-to-multidecadal variabilites.
